The score at the end of the first half was 40-4 in favor of India. Although Korea managed to score nine points in the second half, they couldn’t match India’s performance.
In the match against Chinese Taipei, India faced a tougher challenge. India executed five all-outs against the host team. Surjeet Narwal displayed an impressive defensive performance, contributing seven tackle points to the team’s victory. Despite Chinese Taipei putting up a fight, India emerged victorious with a score of 53-19. The first half of the match was closely contested, with both teams exchanging points. However, India managed to establish a lead of one point at 7-6 in the early stages of the game. India gradually widened the gap, including an all-out in the 12th minute. By halftime, India had a comfortable lead of 21-12.
The Indian team, which has won seven out of the last eight Asian Kabaddi Championships, faced a slightly stronger challenge from Chinese Taipei in their second match of the day. However, thanks to Sachin’s stellar performance, India emerged victorious. The Indian team displayed their dominance and proved why they are considered one of the favorites to win the championship.
